On September 6, 2017, Congress reached a deal with the White House that would extend funding for U.S. government programs through December 8, 2017. One of those programs is the EB-5 Program. The proposed bill also included an increase in the debt limit to provide disaster relief funding to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Exact timing of the bill is not very clear, nor is the fact that Congress will actually pass the proposed measure.
